Nostalgia Is My Favorite Word
It's supposed to be raining/snowing this weekend and I do not want to be cooped up inside. On days like this it's hard to get the motivation to get dressed up, but I always feel more productive and energized when I look good.
In college, weekends are the best part of the week. Part of this is because now that swim season is over I don't see a lot of my older friends during the week and the weekend gives me time to hang out and catch back up with them. In addition to catching up on homework, of course.
April is just around the corner and it's hard to believe that I have only six weeks more of school. Freshman year just flew by and I haven't even had the time to realize what has happened. So many new experinces, people, places; and almost every single one of them was amazing.
I'm feeling nostalgic and reflective and happy.

I feel nostalgic about 98% of the time. Also, it is weird how much better you feel when you look good, you know? I always feel gross and annoyed on days that I just throw on sweats or Nike shorts.
You make college sound so awesome. I'm antsy to go.
You've heard this a million times, I'm sure. But let me tell you, the whole college experience goes by in a flash. I wish I hadn't graduated early and that I was still in school with all my friends. Love the outfits by the way. Rainy days are the best.
Nostalgia really is a beautiful word. Enjoy the weather and the last few weeks of your freshman year!
the last sentance made me smile. lots. :D
Can I, like, steal those shoes? (Even though they'd look ridiculous on me... but still.) Okay, thanks. Dressing better definitely makes a difference, though. This one kid in my grade wears suits and fancy things every time there's an important test (so... practically every day of the week) and during AP tests, he wears tuxes. He's a genius so I'm pretty sure it's the clothes.
I don't understand how time can move so fast, but the moments when you get to look back on it fondly always ensure that you don't forget.
